Who are we
Since 2012,
Proanima has placed animal welfare and the highest level of service at the heart of all actions and decisions. Our non-profit organization provides preventive animal management for their partnered municipalities, and their citizens, offering advice, help and resources to limit the abandonment of animals. In this sense, Proanima offers prevention services, awareness education, identification, sterilization, and dangerous animal coaching/solutions, along with temporarily shelter, hosting and care for pets, strays, and abandoned animals to ultimately find them a new home.

Our history
Fondé et porté par Geneviève Desrochers, ingénieure, ambassadrice et présidente du conseil d’administration depuis ses débuts, Proanima est un organisme à but non lucratif (OBNL) qui a vu le jour en 2012 pour répondre au besoin criant d’une gestion animalière éthique et responsable.
