Bolt is a lively, gorgeous 3-year-old Husky mix who’s eager to share her boundless enthusiasm with her family. At 50 lbs (22.4 kg), she’s always unaware of her space and constantly on the move, as if she’s always trying to discover what’s just around the corner. She loves being around people and will run up to everyone with a smile (or rather, a jump) to show how happy she is. If you’re looking for a playmate with lots of pep, you’ve found her!

Curious and insatiable, Bolt loves to explore her surroundings as if every day were a new adventure. She hasn’t learned the basics yet when it comes to training, but she has a strong will. She’s not particularly interested in treats, but with a little patience and gentle methods, she’ll soon learn what’s expected of her. You could say she’s a bit of an airhead, but that’s also part of her charm. Bolt is eager to learn, and with a patient family, she’ll be an enthusiastic student.

What Bolt wants is action! She needs an active family, willing to take her out for runs and give her moments of freedom where she can let off steam. Running in a wide open space or trying sports like canicross would be perfect for her. On walks, she’ll need a front harness or head halter training to help channel her boundless energy, as she tends to pull and lunge without really caring about what’s going on around her.

Bolt loves to communicate and likes to “talk” to us when she wants our attention. Her way of expressing herself is a real little show, a mixture of movements and small sounds to show that she is there and that she wants to be involved. But beyond her jumps and her energy, she also knows how to calm down, especially when we offer her interactive toys or chew bones to entertain her.

What she needs to thrive is a home with a large, fenced yard where she can run around safely and freely. If you’re a patient, loving family willing to give her the training and activities she deserves, Bolt will undoubtedly become a loyal, joyful companion, always ready to go on adventures with you.
