Organizing a fundraising event

You would like to make a difference in the lives of animals?  Proanima needs your help!

Organizing a fundraising event is a wonderful commitment towards our shelter!

 In order to hold the best event possible, choose an activity that interests you and surround yourself with an amazing team!

Our suggested events:

• Bake sales or lemonade stands at work or at school;
• Bingo or poker nights
• Garage or book sales
• Benefit dinners
• Sports tournaments, 5K runs
• Donations in lieu of gifts on birthdays or other special occasions

Any other ideas? 

Once your proposed event is approved, Proanima will commit to:

• Adding your event to our web calendar
• Providing our logo and pictures of some of our animals
• Providing donation boxes
• Providing pamphlets and promotional posters

For his/her part, the organizer is fully responsible for:

• Event advertising
• Organizing costs
• Providing volunteers
• Sales of tickets
• Obtaining all necessary permits, licences and legal authorizations, as well as insurance certificates
