WAR IN UKRAINE: PROANIMA WELCOMES REFUGEE ANIMALS

Our entire team declares itself ready to welcome and temporarily house the animals of Ukrainian refugees who will arrive in Quebec to flee the war. We offer to take care of their animals as well as to offer them food, while they find a more stable solution.
It should also be noted that, for the moment, we do not need foster families for these animals nor do we plan any special fundraisers. If this is ever the case, we will announce it on our Facebook page.
Proanima supports the Ukrainian people in this tragic moment and, as has always been its mission, is keen to help them and their animals.

We would also like to remind you of the many services and programs that are offered to the most vulnerable citizens in our region:- Animal shelter for victims of domestic violence
- Animal shelter for hospitalized people or for any other emergency situation (fire, death, admission to a detoxification center, prison, etc.)
- Distribution of animal food in organizations helping the poor or homeless
- Low-cost cat sterilization for low-income citizens
- Animal behavior advice and abandonment prevention
- And many other services!
