Mali is a 2-year-old male cat.
When he arrived at the shelter, Mali was rather shy and reserved. He had trouble bonding with humans and dreaded contact. However, since he’s been in foster care, Mali has made good progress. Little by little, he gains confidence and courage. He’s increasingly open to interaction and even appreciates cuddles. Although he maintains a certain caution, he proves to be a gentle, curious and loving cat.
Because of his fearful past, Mali would benefit from a calm, secure environment where he could continue to flourish. He needs a patient, understanding family who will give him the time he needs to adapt to his new environment. Gentle interaction and positive encouragement will be essential to boost his self-confidence and his relationship with his new human companions.
