Zoboomafoo is a young cat aged 6 months. Because of his shyness, we placed him with a foster family to give him a chance to get to know people. It is already showing signs of progress in its adaptation to domestic life.

The latest follow-up from the foster family was as follows: “We finally have a release! Zoboomafoo is still hiding but he’s walking around more and more in my presence and I heard him meowing for the first time because he wanted to be petted! He climbs up on the sofa when I’m sitting down, loves to be petted and has even closed his eyes and laid down on my legs. He loves the sun and even takes little naps outside his hiding place. He’s still a bit nervous when I walk around, but I think he’s beginning to understand that I don’t want to eat him! For real I think he’s going to be a great pet cat.”

Zoboomafoo would feel better in a calm and quiet environment, where he can relax without being disturbed by loud noises or sudden movements. Hiding spots and comfortable spaces will be important for Zoboomafoo, allowing him to retreat and feel safe when he needs to.

Due to his heart murmur, Zoboomafoo is part of the humanitarian program, which offers adoption fees reduced by half.
