The animal caretaker is responsible for helping the animal caretaker with the maintenance of the equipment used by the animals (food bowl, litter) as well as some tasks related to the cleaning of the cat cages. (80% of the time slot)

He will also be responsible for enriching our cats for adoption. (20% of the time slot)

As a team with the staff members, he will work to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the living environment of our little residents. Like all employees of Proanima, the volunteer must respect the organization’s mission and code of ethics at all times and take part in the continuing education program. Training will be given to the volunteer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and laundry
• Clean the cages of cats leaving the shelter
• Do the supply
• Help enrich cats for adoption

Skills and Other Requirements

• Be 18 or older
• Be autonomous and be able to follow clear instructions
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Punctual and diligent
• Ability to remain standing for several hours
